Just days before becoming a Home Run Derby champion, Jordan Walker spent the morning supporting another cause close to his heart: helping young people build confidence through literacy and education.

On Friday, July 10, Jordan and Walker’s Winners Foundation visited the Summer Literacy Camp at LifeWise StL. Scholars had the opportunity to read, practice math, ask questions, and learn from someone who understands the value of setting ambitious goals and working consistently to achieve them.

This marked Jordan’s third year visiting LifeWise StL. Each year, he encourages scholars to dream big, believe in their abilities, and recognize that meaningful success takes time, hard work, and perseverance.

The scholars enjoyed meeting Jordan and hearing about his experiences. His visit showed them that accomplishments do not happen overnight. They are built through preparation, determination, and the courage to keep going.
